Dr. Matthew Casey
Born and raised in Texas, Dr. Matthew Casey (he/him) is excited to bring healthy smiles to Washington D.C. Dr. Casey completed his undergraduate education at Penn State University and went on to obtain his doctorate in dental medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. On top of his studies, he received honors for community service and health advocacy in Philadelphia, promoting oral health for at-risk populations and implementing harm reduction strategies for patients struggling with opioid dependency. Following graduation, Dr. Casey completed a General Practice Residency at the Pittsburgh Veterans Administration (VA) Medical Center where he gained extensive experience in restorative dentistry and oral surgery.
Dr. Casey is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and is working towards his Mastership by completing hundreds of hours of diverse continuing education, ensuring he learns the most current and cutting-edge technologies and procedures to provide exceptional dentistry. When not focusing on providing patients with top-notch oral health, he enjoys exploring D.C. on bike, watching the Nationals play, trying new foods around the city, and working on his photography.
